Since 2001, the Hildisrieden cheese dairy has been run by the managing couple of Nadia and Kurt Hofstetter. On a sunny hill overlooking Lake Sempach, milk from the surrounding lush meadows is turned into Sbrinz AOP. Thank to good animal husbandry, clean milk production and extensive experience, the village cheese dairy produces 16 Sbrinz wheels daily, which are stored for up to three years.
