Chicken patties

For 4 persons / 8 pieces
PREPARATION: approx. 15 mins
COOKING TIME: approx. 25 mins

Ingredients
– 1 muffin tray with 12 wells
– Butter for the tray
– 350 g chopped chicken
– 4 tbsp cream
– 40 g grated Sbrinz AOP
– 1 garlic clove, pressed
– 1 tsp coarse-grained mustard
– 1 gherkin, diced
– 2 tbsp chives, chopped
– Salt, pepper
– 16 dry Valais bacon IGP
– 2 tbsp grated Sbrinz AOP, for sprinkling
– Micro leaves or cress to garnish

Preparation
Briefly knead the chicken with all the ingredients up to and including the pepper to form a mixture. Place 2 slices of bacon crosswise in each of the prepared cavities in the tray. Shape the mixture into 8 equally sized balls and place them on the bacon. Place the ends of the slices over the mixture. Sprinkle with Sbrinz. Bake in the lower part of an oven preheated to 220°C for 20-25 minutes, garnish.

Tip
Goes well with radishes to nibble on, a winter salad or vegetables, e.g. savoy cabbage, kalette.
