Asparagus and ham grissini

Ingredients
– 500 g green asparagus (approx. 20 thin spears)
– 20 slices of smoked ham 
– 3 tbsp wild garlic pesto
– 1 puff pastry
– 50 g grated Sbrinz AOP
– 1 egg

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees convection. Wash the green asparagus, peel the ends (approx. 3 cm) and cut off the woody end. Wrap each asparagus spear with a slice of smoked-ham. Remove the puff pastry from the fridge, roll out carefully, spread with the pesto and cut into strips about 1 cm wide. Wrap the strips around the asparagus spears wrapped with smoked-ham. Place the asparagus and ham grissini on the baking paper, brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with the grated Sbrinz AOP. Bake in a preheated oven for approx. 15 minutes until golden brown.

Asparagus and ham grissini are an ideal finger food in spring and early summer. They can be served with Sbrinz AOP chunks if you like.
