Älpler Spaghetti with Sbrinz AOP
For 4 persons
PREPARATION: approx. 30 minutes
Ingredients:
– 2 onions
– 150 g bacon
– 7 dl water
– 2.5 dl full cream
– 400 g waxy potatoes
– 250 g spaghetti
– 150 Sbrinz AOP, grated
– 2 tbsp chives
– Salt & pepper
Preparation:
Cut the onions into rings and the bacon into fine strips. Fry the onions and bacon in a coated pan until golden brown, remove and set aside. Bring the water and full cream to the boil, season with salt and pepper. Cut the potatoes into 1 cm cubes, add and cook for about 5 minutes. Add the spaghetti, cook until al dente, stirring carefully from time to time until the liquid is absorbed. Mix the grated Sbrinz AOP into the spaghetti.
Arrange on plates, spread onion and bacon mixture on top. Finely chop the chives, sprinkle over the spaghetti and serve hot.
